2026 Summer Plans
Folks, it’s summer, that means to discuss summer plans. Ok, really I should’ve done this a few months ago, but I didn’t know what to do this year. Now I do. I’m going to do something that I wanted to do last summer but chickened out of: entertainment. So, what I’m asking for you readers to do is send in recommendations of hockey media to review. Hockey movies, TV shows, video games, books, that you think I should review this summer. I think this past year was draining to us on the left so let’s have some fun this summer. We’ll have plenty of time to discuss the bad aspects of hockey when hockey starts up again. I’m also considering interviewing other left-wing hockey content creators. If you are interested in a potential interview, let me know. There are a few people I’m going to reach out to myself as well. I want this off-season to be more positive, uplifting, and fun, a reminder of why we love the sport in the first place. Once again, come September, I’m sure we will be returning to negativity. It’s not healthy to live in so much negativity so let’s have fun when we can.
To be honest, I’m also doing it for the sake of my mental health. It needs some fun after this long hockey season, I need to write about things I wouldn’t normally. Just to shake things up some.
Now, for my annual break: there will be no articles from August 23-September 6. Every year, it is much appreciated that you all let me go on a two-week break. I truly do need it and it does provide me the energy to power through each season.
Oh, and one last thing: it’s time for the annual mailbag article! Send in your hockey questions. Comments are open to everyone in this article or you can send them to me on social media. That being said, the next article will be a news article, and it should be out before the end of this week. I’ve already started on it.
