Yesterday, the PWHL draft happened. 15 rounds, in a snake order (that is, reversing the order of teams picking after each round). 90 players were selected, and so in this article I’m posting the round each player was taken by their team, position they played, and then also give a roster breakdown of each team, so you have a better idea where each team stands currently. This article will not be dissecting players, but merely give you a broader idea of what the league’s rosters look like. Dissecting 90 players at once is too much for one person. I will release articles discussing each team’s rosters soon enough. For now, we’ll just leave it here. I do want to apologize for not having had this out yesterday, but considering that I released three articles yesterday, my brain was fried and just had no energy to do any more writing.
(Since all three articles were team specific articles, this is your reminder that if you do want to receive articles giving coverage for the Blue Jackets or Red Wings, you have to opt-in. Here is an article on how to do so. Blue Jackets coverage is "Union Diary" and Red Wings coverage is "Hockeytown Ramblings".)
Also, before we start: we are in the middle of the off-season for this newsletter currently. From July 30-October 1, all articles will be exclusive to paid subscribers.
