ECAC Tournament: The #13 Princeton Tigers beat unranked RIT, 3-2. Aylah Cioffi gave Rensselaer the lead a little past halfway of the first period, but with 15 seconds left, Mackenzie Alexander tied it. In the second period, Issy Wunder scored the sole goal, giving the Tigers a 2-1 lead. That would last until 9:17 of the third period when Rensselaer’s Sophie Helgeson tied it up. One minute and 24 seconds later, Rosie Klein scored the game-winner for Princeton.
Hockey East: The #15 Boston College Eagles beat unranked New Hampshire, 2-0. Julia Pellerin and Alanna Devlin were the goalscorers. Grace Campbell made 28 saves to get the shutout win.
In an upset, unranked Connecticut beat #12 Boston University, 4-1. Sadie Hotles scored the first two goals of the game, followed shortly by Martha Mobarak and Jada Habisch. Connecticut had a 4-0 lead going into the third period. Boston University’s sole goal, a power play goal by Lindsay Bochna, came 3:53 into the final period.
In an upset, unranked Vermont beat #14 Northeastern, 3-2. The first period was scoreless, but 21 seconds into the second period, Maddy Skelton scored, giving Vermont the lead. 37 seconds later, Skelton’s teammate, Ashley Kokavec, added to the lead. Three minutes and three seconds later, Vermont had a 3-0 lead. Northeastern wouldn’t respond until two minutes into the third period. Lily Brazis scored that goal. Almost four minutes later, though, Skylar Irving sealed the deal for Vermont with the team’s fourth goal.
WCHA: The #4 Minnesota Golden Gophers beat the #6 Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, 3-2. It was 1-1 going into the second period, but the second period belonged to the Golden Gophers as they would score twice. That would be all they’d need as the Bulldogs would only manage to score once in the third period. Olivia Wallin scored both goals for the Bulldogs while Audrey Wethington had two primary assists for the Golden Gophers.
The #2 Ohio State Buckeyes beat the #11 St. Cloud State Huskies, 5-3. The Buckeyes had a 3-0 lead late in the second period. But, the Huskies came back and tied it up by 7:25 of the third period. Unfortunately for the Huskies, just over a minute later, the Buckeyes would score twice more afterward. Jocelyn Amos had a hat trick for the Buckeyes while Emma Gentry had a goal and an assist for the Huskies.
The #1 Wisconsin Badgers beat unranked Bemidji State, 6-1. Casey O'Brien scored twice and had an assist while Laila Edwards had a goal and two assists. Genevieve Hendrickson scored the sole goal for Bemidji State.

In an upset, unranked Connecticut beat #12 Boston University, 3-1. Ava Rinker got Connecticut on the board early in the first and it wouldn’t be until the second period that Boston University’s Luisa Welcke responded with a goal. The third period was all Connecticut, though, as they scored twice, including Ava Rinker’s second goal of the game, to skate away with the win.
WCHA: The #2 Ohio State Buckeyes beat the #11 St. Cloud State Huskies, 3-2. Much like the day before, the Buckeyes took a lead, the Huskies came back and tied it. This time, it was merely a 2-0 lead before the Huskies tied it up. Also unlike the day before, the Buckeyes only scored once more after. The Huskies’ two goalscorers were Emma Gentry and Abby Promersberger. The Buckeyes’ three goalscorers were Makenna Webster, Riley Brengman, and Joy Dunne.
The #4 Minnesota Golden Gophers beat the #6 Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, 1-0. Abbey Murphy scored the sole goal of the game 11:21 into the third period. Hannah Clark made 22 saves to get the shutout win. While normally I don’t shout out losing goaltenders, Ève Gascon deserves one here. She made 48 saves.
The #1 Wisconsin Badgers beat Bemidji State, 6-1. Bemidji State’s sole goal was the first goal of the game, scored by Raeley Carney. For the Badgers, Kirsten Simms got a hat trick and an assist while Casey O'Brien had three assists.

Later that day, the Sceptres would beat the Frost, 2-1. The Frost’s Cava scored the first goal of the game, a power play goal, 6:20 into regulation. It would take about 25 minutes for the Sceptres to respond. When they did, though, it was also on a power play, but by Maltais. Early in the third period, Compher would score the game-winner. Harmon assisted on both goals.
It required a shootout, but the Fleet would beat the Sirens, 3-2. Fillier got New York on the board just 2:09 into regulation. Nearly four-and-a-half minutes later, though, Gabel would tie it for Boston. With 50 seconds left in the first period, Eldridge would once again give the Sirens the lead. The game-tying goal that forced overtime would be scored with 37 seconds left in the second period, thanks to Pelkey. The shootout went five rounds. The only player who scored was Boston’s Tapani.
